Ronaldo Couto Parente

Professor Ronaldo Parente recebeu seu doutorado pela Temple University na Filadélfia (EUA) em Estratégia e Negócios Internacionais (2003). Tem mestrado em Administração com concentração em Finanças pela University of Tampa (1993) nos Estados Unidos. Graduado em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade de Fortaleza (1986). Sua área de pesquisa inclui estratégia, gestão de empresas multinacionais de países emergentes, outsourcing, modularização estratégica de processos produtivos, cadeia de suprimento global, inovação e gestão do conhecimento. Suas publicações aparecem (ou foram aceitas para publicação) em vários periódicos internacionais como o Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of International Management, IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Business Review, Business Horizons, World Financial Review, Global Strategy Journal. Revista de Administracao de Empresas, Journal of Technology Forecasting and Social Change, International Journal of Automotive Technology & Management, e Journal of Behavioral and Applied Management. Professor Parente atualmente faz parte do corpo editorial dos seguintes periódicos internacionais: Journal of International Business Studies, Thunderbird International Business Review, Global Strategy Journal, e Journal of International Management. É também membro ativo e eleito no conselho da European International Business Academy. No lado profissional, Professor Parente trabalhou como consultor várias instituições publicas e privadas no Brasil, nos Estados Unidos, e na Bulgária. E atualmente professor titular da Florida International University e também foi funcionário do Banco do Nordeste durante 14 anos entre 1983 a 1997.
