Cristina Barroso Hofer

Possui graduação em medicina pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1993), mestrado em Medicina (Doenças Infecciosas e Parasitárias) pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1998), doutorado em Epidemiology - Universidade de Pittsburgh (2002) e pós-doutorado em Epidemiologia - Universidade de Berna (2014). Atualmente é profa titular da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro . Tem experiência na área de Medicina, com ênfase em infectologia materno-infantil, infecções associadas aos cuidados de saúde em pediatria, infeccoes congenitas e epidemiologia.

Oportunidades Perdidas para a Prevenção da transmissão vertical do HIV, Descrição: Neste projeto atualizamos as coortes de gestantes e crianças infectadas pelo HIV, e das crianças expostas, mas não infectadas pelo HIV. Com este projeto respondemos perguntas sobre manifestações clinicas e laboratoriais de crianças e gestantes infectadas ou expostas, mas não infectadas pelo HIV.
