  Análise de recorrências como ferramenta para a quantificação de sinais determinísticos e estocásticos, Descrição: Tratamos aqui de uma das questões mais fundamentais da análise de dados: como distinguir em series temporais de tamanhos finitos, características determinísticas, caóticas (corrompidas ou não por ruído) de flutuações estocásticas com ou sem correlação temporal. Para series com poucos elementos, propriedades de trajetórias podem não ser refletidas adequadamente pelos dados, então métodos baseados em propriedades estatísticas das trajetórias não são relevantes. Aqui, apresentamos uma abordagem baseada em análises de recorrência, especificamente, usamos a probabilidade de ocorrência de microestados de recorrência para superar limitações na quantificação de dados determinísticos e estocásticos.
