Possui graduação em Odontologia pela Universidade de Passo Fundo (2010), Residência em Cirurgia Bucomaxilofacial pela Santa Casa de Porto Alegre-RS (2013), Mestrado (MSc) em Cirurgia Bucomaxilofacial-PUCRS (2016) e Doutorado em Cirurgia Bucomaxilofacial pela PUCRS/Hospital São Lucas (2021). Além disso, realizou fellow da AOCMF Fellow Basel University Hospital/Suíça (Prof. Dr. Joachin Prein) e Fellowship em cirurgia artroscópica da ATM no Hospital San Carlos de Madrid/Espanha (Prof. Dr. Rafael Martín-Granizo).Ex-professor do curso de Residência em Cirurgia Bucomaxilofacial do Hospital Santa Casa de Porto Alegre de 2014 a 2016 e atualmente é professor do curso de Residência em Cirurgia Bucomaxilofacial da SOBRESP em Santa Maria/RS e Coordenador do curso de Aperfeiçoamento em Cirurgia Oral do IOA Passo Fundo/RS.Em 2024 realizou o Fellowship em Cirurgia Ortognática Minimamente Invasiva no Hospital Sint-Jan em Brugges/Bélgica (Prof. Dr. Gwen Swennen).Tem experiência na área de Odontologia, com ênfase em Cirurgia e Traumatologia Bucomaxilofacial, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: cirurgia e traumatologia bucomaxilofacial, estomatologia, cirurgia ortognática e tratamento das disfunções da ATM.E-mail: robertofzanin@hotmail.com

AVALIAÇÃO FUNCIONAL E DA QUALIDADE DE VIDA DE PACIENTES SUBMETIDOS À DISCOPEXIA DA ARTICULAÇÃO TEMPOROMANDIBULAR, Descrição: Tratamentos cirúrgicos das desordens da ATM representam hoje uma das maiores controvérsias da especialidade. Apresentando-se, em muitos casos, como a modalidade terapêutica de escolha para o tratamento das disfunções temporomandibulares após verificada a indicação e a avaliação de outros quesitos que fundamentam esta escolha, como a magnitude da degeneração discal, posição do disco articular (deslocamento do disco articular com ou sem redução), oclusão, faixa etária do paciente, amplitude de abertura de boca, limitação dos movimentos mandibulares, dor e etc. As desordens da articulação temporomandibular (ATM) e seu tratamento possuem repercussões físicas e psicológicas na qualidade de vida (QOL). Desta forma, o objetivo deste trabalho será investigar a qualidade de vida de pacientes com desordens da articulação temporomandibular submetidos à cirurgia para o reposicionamento do disco articular através de âncoras, avaliando o pré-operatório (T0), 15 dias (T1) e 6 meses de pós-operatório (T2) em 36 pacientes com deslocamento anterior do disco com ou sem redução por meio dos questionários Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14) e Índice de Helkimo. AVALIAÇÃO DA MUDANÇA DA QUALIDADE DE VIDA USANDO O ORAL HEALTH IMPACT PROFILE (OHIP) EM PACIENTES COM DESORDENS ARTICULARES: UMA COMPARAÇÃO PRÉ E PÓS CIRÚRGICO., Descrição: As desordens da articulação temporomandibular (ATM) e seu tratamento possuem repercussões físicas e psicológicas na qualidade de vida (QOL). Este estudo avaliou o pré-operatório (T0) e de 3-6 meses de pós-operatório (T1) em 50 pacientes (100 discos) com deslocamento anterior do disco sem redução bilateral, submetidos à cirurgia para o reposicionamento do disco articular através de âncoras. A QOL relacionada com a saúde bucal foi avaliada usando a versão reduzida do oral health impact profile (OHIP-14). Houve uma redução estatisticamente significante na média geral das pontuações OHIP-14 entre T0 (12.48 ± 5.81) e T1 (3.84 ± 3.00). Em adição, houve uma redução significativa em todos os 7 domínios OHIP-14 (P<0,001). Pacientes mais jovens na faixa etária entre 28-38 anos (n=26) foram beneficiados em todos os domínios avaliados, enquanto que uma melhora significativa pode ser observada apenas no domínio dor física (P > 0.05) para os pacientes mais idosos na faixa etária entre 50-60 anos (n=5). Os resultados sugerem que as desordens da ATM afetam os indivíduos em diversos aspectos de suas vidas e que as abordagens das condições específicas e gerais de saúde oral para avaliar a QOL possuem valor em determinar o impacto das desordens articulares na qualidade de vida destes pacientes. RECONSTRUÇÃO ESTÉTICA E FUNCIONAL ATRAVÉS DE ENXERTO AUTÓGENO E IMPLANTES APÓS RESSECÇÃO DE AMELOBLASTOMA EM MANDÍBULA., Descrição: O retalho livre de fíbula fornece o maior montante de tecido ósseo entre todos os retalhos ósseos, causando pouca morbidade na área doadora, prestando-se, ainda, à modelagem mediante múltiplas osteotomias, o que permite sua adaptação a qualquer defeito na área facial. Pretendeu-se, com este estudo, apresentar um caso tratado com retalho livre de fíbula para reconstrução da mandíbula, atentando para as vantagens e os benefícios da técnica.
