Denise Maria Osborne

Doutora em Second Language Acquisition and Teaching da University of Arizona (EUA) com pesquisa na área de fonética e fonologia de segunda língua. Possui mestrado em Applied Linguistics pela Columbia University (New York, EUA, 2010). Áreas de interesse incluem a percepção e a produção de sons do português por aprendizes em contexto estrangeiro e por falantes de herança do português brasileiro; phonetic attrition; a percepção de variedades do português brasileiro por aprendizes; e a aquisição do português por estrangeiros em ambiente naturalístico. Também tem interesse por ensino de português como língua estrangeira, focando nos sendidos de identidades étnicas, linguagem e abordagens não binárias e conhecimentos trans na prática pedagógica e seus impactos em potencial na motivação para aprender e na competência linguística.
