  Ammonia Decomposition At High Pressures, Descrição: The Main Objective of this project is to conduct a technical and economic analysis of the ammonia decomposition at high pressures. According to the proposal, this analysis will be based on a conceptual process developed from modeling and simulation data. The data will be obtained from the decomposition of NH3 at high pressure, through either direct or indirect routes.   Environmental and social impact assessment for CO2 storage activities, Descrição: Descrição: the environmental feasibility of projects that potentially or effectively causing significant environmental degradation, and should also prevent, mitigate, recover and compensate the negative impacts caused. In 2007, International Energy Agency identified that the main countries with strong tradition in Environmental Impact Assessment such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, United Kingdom and United States, did not yet have specific Environmental Impact Assessment frameworks for Carbon Capture and Storage projects, recommending these activities be incorporated into each national framework. Since then, several countries have improved their practices and procedures about Environmental Impact Assessment frameworks for Carbon Capture and Storage projects, considering as main issues the risk assessment of geological storage of CO2, mitigation measures of waste disposal, public perception of risk, social license to operate, follow-up for monitoring impacts and effectiveness of actions. On the other hand, although Brazil has more than 30 years of substantive experience with projects related to Environmental Impact Assessment. However, current problems such as the emerging opportunities to increase oil and gas production of pre-salt reserves, occurs that there is no specific Environmental Impact Assessment framework for CCS activities. This scenario represents great complexities and uncertainties considering that the scaling up of oil and gas production from pre-salt on the Brazilian scale, probably, will require the improvement of measures to mitigate CO2 emissions.   Desenvolvimento de Equipamento de Usina Solar Fotovoltaica com Sistema Ativo de Arrefecimento para Maior Rendimento na Geração de Eletricidade, Descrição: O projeto tem por objetivo desenvolver um sistema de arrefecimento para painéis fotovoltaicos, os mais utilizados no mundo, com vistas a obtenção de maior rendimento, voltado a aplicações de geração solar de larga escala.
