Jacob Schaf

possui graduação em Física pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1969), mestrado em Física pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1972) e doutorado em Física pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1979). Atualmente é professor colaborador convidado da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Tem experiência na área de Física, com ênfase em Supercondutividade e Magnetismo, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: magnetic properties, magnetic irreversibility, superconductivity, flux dynamics e high tc superconductors.

Propriedades Magnéticas e Elétricas de Materiais Supercondutores de Alta Temperatura Crítica e de Ligas Metálicas., Descrição: A nossa pesquisa visa esclarecer a origem da Ordem Magnética dos Vidros de Spin. Investigar as propriedades magnéticas de ligas magnéticas de elementos de transição e com terras raras.
