Possui Bacharelado em Música pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul e Mestrado em Música pela University of Southern Mississippi. Atualmente está concluindo o Doutorado de Músical Artes em Performance e Pedagogia do Contrabaixo na University of Southern Mississippi nos Estados Unidos.
