Delano Gobbi

Graduado em Física pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1984), Mestrado e Doutorado em Geofísica Espacial pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) e Pós-Doutorado pela Universidade de Kyoto (Uji-Shi, Kyoto, Japão). Atualmente, exerce as atividades de Pesquisador (Titular) na Divisão de Aeronomia do INPE e Professor no Corpo Docente do Curso de Geofísica Espacial do INPE. Enquadra-se na área de Geociências, com ênfase em Aeronomia, com especialização nos seguintes temas de pesquisa e desenvolvimento tecnológico: aeroluminescência; ondas atmosféricas; bolhas ionosféricas; instrumentação óptica para sondagem da alta atmosfera (solo e satélite).
