  Community Voices: Belonging and Anti-Racism, Descrição: À luz do aumento de crimes de ódio, racismo e xenofobia em Brandon, o Local Immigration Partnership e o BU CARES Research Center lançaram o Community Voices Project ? uma série de conversas aprofundadas sobre inclusão e anti-racismo e comunidades em todo o Canadá.   Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging, Descrição: The Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) is a large, national, long-term study that will follow approximately 50,000 men and women who are between the ages of 45 and 85 when recruited, for at least 20 years. The CLSA will collect information on the changing biological, medical, psychological, social, lifestyle and economic aspects of people?s lives. These factors will be studied to understand how, individually and in combination, they have an impact in both maintaining health and in the development of disease and disability as people age.   Out There: A Study on LGBTQ Educators Teaching Overseas, Descrição: The overall purpose of this research project is to understand how LGBTQ educators working internationally (referred to as LGBTQ international educators) navigate their sexuality and gender difference as they cross borders into their new workplaces and communities. The project objectives are to: (1) identify how the geo- and socio-political landscapes of the destination context influence LGBTQ international educators; (2) analyze LGBTQ international educators? articulation of their sexuality and gender identitydifference in their workplaces and communities; and (3) determine the usefulness of qualitative and participatory research methods involving LGBTQ international educators. Participants will be drawn from universities, teacher associations, non-profit organizations, social media, and by way of snowball sampling.
