Amábile Alice Deretti
Bachelor of Languages - Translator Portuguese and English - graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2018). Brazilian Sign Language discipline monitor and Russian Language monitor through four academic semesters. Volunteer participation in the research project analysing the scope of Brazilian poetry translated into English (June 2017-December 2017), which investigated localisation theories and the presence of poetry in video games. Conducted a final monograph about the importance of gameplay experience in game localisation. Areas of interest include Translation Studies and Comparative Literature. A professional translator who has been working in the area since 2016 and constantly developing creative translation skills in the Video Game and Subtitling industry as their expertise field.
